Friday the 13th Part 3 is one of my least favorite Friday the 13th movies. The movie was just bad in several ways. The acting was often poor, the effects were outdated, and the comedy didn't work. I would give the original version around a 5/10 on a rating scale. Ray Danger attempts to improve the film by removing several small aspects from the story without impacting the overall narrative. In that, I think he did a very good job. The film now feels on par with part II in terms of quality which is impressive given what he had to work with.

I'm going to keep these reviews very brief as I'm reviewing numerous films in RayDanger's series -

First off, the Friday the 13th series is not top shelf cinema, but they are a fun set of films. RayDanger does a miraculous job of streamlining the entire series, providing a lovingly curated narrative that is more sensical that the ones that the original producers released.

It terms of visual tone, audio, and overall editing, the experience is greatly improved with greater emphasis on suspense throughout.

I was initially weary of this film, turned off by the hackneyed choices made to exploit the original 3D presentation, in addition to the one-dimensional characterization. While these victims may still lack the charm of the second film's, RayDanger manager to manipulate the narrative into a thrilling installment to the slasher series.

His editing choices work to make the moody, visual tone more consistent the other installments. Additionally, he's fastidiously trimmed the runtime and awkwardness from the 3D segments, The resulting narrative ramps up to a brutal third act that showcases Jason's might. I commend RayDanger for elevating such campy source material

I still didn't enjoy the film but it made for a better watching experience overall with better pacing and removed awful 3d scenes. This is definitely the best way to watch this movie.

Much better than the original, a lot of nonsensical 3D scenes were removed, and scenes that didn't implement anything for the story too. Recommended.

Ray Danger's series continues to impress! With improved pacing over the original cut, and minimized 3D effects, much of the cringe is removed and, once again, if you hadn't seen the theatrical version you wouldn't even notice the edits!

Friday the 13th Part 3 runs the risk of becoming more of the same, and feeling redundant after part 2. So the improved pacing and shorter run time of this raymix are greatly appreciated; especially if you decide to watch both parts back to back. The series starts to lean into the eventual campiness a bit with the third part, so I seriously enjoyed the funky music over the opening title and end credits!

As with the first two, the edited dates are a nice addition to maintain continuity, and the post credits shot is a delightful tease for the future instalments!
