The concept of "that hockey mask psycho who lives in a lake IN OUTER SPACE" was always going to be a thin premise, and the original film stretched it way past the breaking point. This editor does a great job of reigning that back into an acceptable hour run-time, exactly the goofy (but still thrilling and scary) dessert course after a long Friday the 13th rewatch-a-thon. This edit's essential to anyone planning such an endeavour, and makes a terrible idea into the fun, TV-episode-length lark that it deserves to be experienced as.
