Synopsis:
The second Volume in a series of edits aiming to recut GAME OF THRONES to bring it more inline with the A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE book series that it was adapted from. This Volume covers A GAME OF THRONES Chapters 23-49, which mostly corresponds to GAME OF THRONES 1.04 - 1.07.
Intention:
The goal was to cut material that is not shown or mentioned in the books, without creating plotholes, and to re-arrange the remaining scenes to match the chapter order of the books as closely as possible.
Additional Notes:
Additional footage: 4 mins from 1.02, 6 mins from 1.03, 4 mins from 1.08, 2 mins from 6.03 and 6.10

Editing Details:
Footage from the show was re-arranged and cut down whilst reading through corresponding chapters in the book. Additionally, chapter summaries from A Wiki of Ice and Fire were read through.
Cuts and Additions:
Cut subplots, scenes, dialogue, and shots not mentioned in the book
Re-ordered scenes to follow chapter order as closely as possible
Trimmed scenes and lingering shots to improve pace
Trimmed gore and extreme violence
Cut or trimmed most sexual content and nudity
Added titlecards each time a significant new location is shown
Created English subtitles for Dothraki dialogue
Added chapter markers corresponding to book chapters

Easy to give this an almost perfect 10. I’m an audio critic but it’s still damn near perfect all around. This edit series is fantastic.

These new edits from Heavisyde make rewatching the series much more pleasant and easier to watch, knowing that they are much closes to the order and timeline of the books and removing most of the filler and parts that just don't fit or slow the pace down too much.
