The only (slight) gripe I have is the lack of English subtitles (closed captioning) for the movie. Otherwise, great movie/fanedit!

Whereas in the past I needed a hiatus to watch part 2 because the foray into the past would exhaust me mentally, especially knowing what transpires in part 1. So whenever I would watch part 2 immediately after 1, it would have an almost stop start effect, which I'm not ashamed to say, I lack the mental stamina for. This edit, however, is seamless and I absolutely prefer this chronological edit. It felt way more immersive and intense. This is a work of great craftsmanship and I'm truly grateful to Wraith.

I've always wanted to dive into the Godfather Saga but was deterred by its TV origins and the challenge of finding it. "Don Vito's Opus" provided a fantastic alternative, and I couldn't be more pleased. The transitions between the young Vito scenes were seamless, making his story flow naturally. It felt like an extended prologue to one of my favorite movies of all time. Wraith's work is truly remarkable, offering new perspectives on the saga, and I found fresh insights and new ways to appreciate these iconic films.

Watching the story unfold chronologically was an unexpectedly delightful experience. The transition into The Godfather Part 1 was executed flawlessly, creating a cohesive narrative that felt entirely new. This version is highly recommended for any fan of the series.

Wow. Just got done w/pt 1.. I'm not going to retread what is likely to already be familiar ground in terms of reviews ..by people undoubledly more eloquent and sophisticated than myself... but I had to just put this out there: not sure if it was a creative choice by the editor, as most viewers in this "scene" would typically be subtitle-happy types, with myself no exception but I found the lack of subs for the english-speaking parts to be an ironically welcome novelty, and encouraged me to be a less-passive viewer, as well as helping the movie somehow feel ever-the-more-real. After all, we don't traipse through life with subtitles, now do we. Although that could be interesting...

Superb editing of a super masterpiece.
I'm an avid collector and still I find something to learn and new ways to look at this saga.
Wraith's work is remarkable. Loved this
