scary? um. YES. i’ve enjoyed all of 3Razor’s “scary as hell editions” and this is no exception. the pacing and story elements really benefit from ALL of your editing decisions. michael kind of turns into a psychopathic version of the big dumb killer from straw dogs, doesn’t he? i made the connection anyways…
i actually wasn’t annoyed at all by how the ending was handled. i think it worked well and gives the viewer the option of accepting whichever ending they choose.
what i missed from your edit was a bit more of danny trejo’s character. i think removing a lot of his interaction with michael makes his death a lot less horrific. the audience doesn’t connect with him all that much here. as the doctor is a pretty huge character, i think adding a few more of his interaction with michael would work better.
great technical quality, and great entertainment. one of the few times i actually round UP from a 4.5/5 :)
