As I continue my journey through Haddonfield I am continually impressed by Ray's choices, editing skills, and narrative abilities. The fact that almost 20 minutes are gone and it goes essentially unnoticed means Ray fully succeeded in improving the original. I actually found the tension in this one higher than in Halloween (1978), which I think generally earns more praise. Fantastic work, seamless edits, and a real flair for building suspense and scares makes Ray the perfect person to have tackled this series. I'm going to keep on going!
