To re-insert the deleted scenes.
Cuts and Additions:
- Extended bird sequence (Great John Williams-scored flute solo in its entirety)

- Sir Cadogan takes the position of the Fat Lady
- Return from Hogsmeade village in the Great Hall – Exploding candy
- Upon returning to the Gryffindor commons, McGonagall tells the students to be wary; Harry broods on Sirius (This was edited down from the full scene, which was an abandoned subplot of Sirius invading Harry’s room while they slept, having found Neville’s list of passwords.)

I have been a stickler for this version of the movie for years now.
At any chance I get to watch through all of the HP movies, I'll sit down with the ADM 3/4/5 versions of the content to enjoy the cutting-room floor version of the things that should have been included in the first place.
I rated low due to the digital age being upon us, and the visual fidelity just not being where it needs to be anymore. For the time it was wonderful, but it could absolutely use a refresh now that the higher resolution of the film is available for modifications. Is it still watchable? Certainly! But the darks are a bit too crunched from the old media type.
I adore every ADM edit I have in my library. This is no exception. If you've read the books and you're looking for the story beats that were just removed for runtime, this is the edit I recommend.

Not much was added but everything was smoothly introduced making a very good fanedition. This was already a good movie without the extended bits but in my opinion the extra scenes are a plus for the movie that makes somethings a little clearer.
