Really, really good. I love the Hobbit book, but the second movie was terrible. The edit is really well done and allows you to genuinely enjoy a great story.

I find myself with very little to say that hasn't already been said. A 'Hobbit Greatest Hits' collection with nixes the one nitpick I had about M4's version. Along with DonKamillo's edit of 'The Batman', this custom miniseries is elegantly done and I can't recommend it enough.

Jeez. This was a journey!

I've seen three edits of the Hobbit now and although they were all terrific I have to say this was my favorite version. The Hobbit lends itself so well to this episodic structure!

Not a single cut feels 'off' and everything flows greatly! I particularly liked the way Bard was handled, as well as the black arrow! It feels like every majoy event in the movies get's it's own episode. It's just terrific. 10/10. You do yourself a disservice by not watching this edit!

An excellent edit with very good pacing and editingI recommend the optional chapter 4.5 which fills in Gandalf’s whereabouts.
There were a few times the edits were a bit disorientating, and personally I would have liked more Smaug esp as it is the main protagonist, but this is the version I will watch going forward. Mad props and thanks to Stromboli for sharing his work.
