In my opinion, Roger Moore was in no shape to play James Bond in Octopussy and A View To A Kill, which means there has been a bit of a gap in my Bond collection in between For Your Eyes Only and The Living Daylights.

Now, however, that gap has been filled thanks to this dream version of Never Say Never Again by The World Of James Bond.

John Barry's music and the gun-barrel opening are synonymous with Bond, and the difference they make here are mountainous.
I always knew that Irvin Kershner was a good director, after all, he directed The Empire Strikes Back. Here his film shines with the romantic and occasionally nautical music of John Barry, as well as some welcome trimming of certain scenes and shots that used to make me cringe.

Connery is in great shape here, and he finally gets his sendoff. A million times better than Diamonds Are Forever

Thank you !!!
