Review Detail

Like the previous reviewer, this is something that I have already seen tacked onto the ADM Extended Edition of Escape From New York. But it is still an interesting example of what might have been. It was a good decision by Carpenter to cut this out, because it makes Snake a much more sympathetic character than he is at the beginning of the final cut of the film.

I'm giving the A/V quality a high mark because the source material really, REALLY sucks, and this version was around as clean as it could possibly be. Editing and Sound were excellent, and I loved watching it.

I can't say this will be a "go to' addition to the film, but I'll keep it around to show off every now and then.
