Shortened to 133 minutes, focused on action and main plotline, with most of the character backstories removed or significantly shortened, this version relates heavily to 70s aesthetics but is not limited to it. The movie got used, damaged look and most of the music was replaced with some 70s (but not only) funk, rock, and cues taken from another movie soundtracks and some TV series themes.
Intention:
To have fast-paced action cut with different looks and music, relating to Grindhouse aesthetics,

Editing Details:
The approach taken is not really "pure Grindhouse" - there is damaged look and most of the soundtrack is from 60/70s, but if something else felt right for the scene I didn't resist, so there are songs from 80s and from later years too. The audio is built around central channel from 5.1 audio track with added music and sometimes rebuilded SFX.
This edit is based on my previous "Remixed" edit, so there are some similar changes to the structure of the story, the opening scenes are the same, but it's 60 minutes shorter. Mono and stereo audio tracks included, but in the stereo track only added music is really in stereo.

Cuts and Additions:
Too many to list all of them (almost half of the movie is missing here).
- Cyborg's backstory heavily shortened
- Flash backstory removed
- Aquaman backstory mostly removed, only some little hints remain
- most of the subplots which were not important to the integrity of the story removed or shortened
- movie ends just after Steppenwolf's defeat, no epilogue at all.
- story restructured in almost the same way as in "Remixed" edit - Bruce starts to search for heroes after Diana's history lesson.
- some sequences replaced with theatrical version (scene with Gordon on the roof, final part of tunnel fight, Wonder Woman's sword catching scene, Wonder Woman throwing the bomb in the air, Flash Vs Superman, diggin' up Superman's corpse)
- some theatrical bits added here and there ("Save one person", "Playing well with others", "Aquaman being honest")
- some BvS flashbacks added to opening scene
- new opening credits sequence

There are a lot of words that have been used to describe Snyder's Justice League, though I do not think the word "FUN" would the first word out of most peoples mouths.
But all that has now changed with this fan edit.
This is a FUN fan edit.
Gieferg has injected some much needed levity into Snyder's very dour grim & gritty heroics with his grindhouse antics and new musical score.
While not every song choice worked for me, many were indeed inspired, even bordering on genius. Any movie that climaxes with that Bonnie Tyler classic is an instant win for me!
Funny, some have criticized that the music is too loud, while I on the other hand, thought it could have been louder in certain epic sequences. To each their own.
Narratively, I like the restructured scenes, though due to personal taste, there are portions I would have preferred the Whedon cut versions as I prefer his less extreme version of certain characters. I also thought in this style of edit, more could have been trimmed for faster pacing. But again that is all very subjective.
Gieferg successfully meets all his fan edit objectives and creates a very interesting alternate take on Snyder's Justice League.
Well done! :)

After watching both official versions of this movie and being disappointed (for different reasons) by both, I was hoping that some enterprising editor would be able to work their magic, but JLG goes beyond my expectations. By using classic rock, old superhero theme songs and (purposely) janky editing to skip over unneccessary exposition "reels," this edit serves to underline the lunatic logic of a cadre of superhumans using a Jack Kirby gizmo to resurrect their fallen idol, followed by a climactic fight inside a nuclear reactor. Essentially this edit boils down the sickly-sweet children's cough medicine of the Snyder Cut into some delicious, tooth-rotting meth candy. An absolute blast, and it pairs very nicely with JobWillins' excellent (though still unavoidably dour) Man of Tomorrow edit.

For those who know me it's no secret that despite (or because of) being a lifelong DC fan, I'm very far from a Snyder one, his DC output or otherwise. I dislike his videogame-like style, his over-reliance on CGI, and his self-important grim/emo approach to the superhero genre. Fortunately, along came this edit and injected much needed fun into the source material, and on the way pointed out the high level of cheese in the original film (come on, that store/car crash introductory scene for Flash is laugh out loud corny, it belongs in a spoof of romcoms!)
The choice of songs is spot-on and often hilarious (I even anticipated a few, thinking "will it dare or won't it" - it did!), the editing itself is excellent, and the technical quality is as high as a recreation of old battered film reels allows - something that is *very* hard to do convincingly, in fact. The only shortcoming is that the original score sometimes creeps under the added songs, but I do realize the difficulty of completely cleaning a dialogue channel to get rid of it (it requires the use of massive quantities of filters, and sometimes not even that does the trick) and given the high enjoyability of the final result, it won't be me holding that back against it.
This was a real breath of fresh air, and there's no further need for me to watch Justice League in any other form. THIS is the one version for me from now on. I was around when the classics of grindhouse fanediting first showed up (Jaws the Sharksploitation Edit, War of the Stars I and II, Robots vs. Kung Fu), and I admit that I had missed the style. This one is a more than worthy addition to that pantheon. Not to be missed.

I really enjoyed the Snyder Cut, but who can sit through such a long, dour movie more than once? This is the fun version. The first Flash scene is beautiful with a well chosen song replacement, and the ending is a lot more fun with pop and rock music. The songs are mixed a bit loudly, in my opinion, and drown out some dialogue. I would watch this again before the original.

The music!! I'd so much fun watching the Grindhoused.
The studio guys shall take cues how to make the superheroe movies that all kind of seriousness is washed down by the Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix in the background, upping the comic cool-factor.
Great work, Gieferg.

I find grindhouse versions quite tiring after a while and i didnt expect to sit through 2hrs of one, but this cut was simply to fun not to. With this said i didn't finish any of the other versions I've seen of this movie. Most Snyder films feel like they were written by an Autist, this one especially. In here scenes that put me off or made me cringe, like most stuff involving flash were made bearable or even fun, through the right use of music and visual effects. The narrative is surprisingly strong, i didn't expect that much story going in and for it to make any sense. The only negative i could bring up would be that sometimes its hard to make out the dialogue over the music. But for that you have the polish subs, don't understand polish, still preferred watching it with subs on. In closing recommend it over any other version out there.
Edit: Before anybody takes offense to the Autist comment, i meant no disrespect. I just wanted to express that Snyder's characters and dialogue lack a certain human touch.

While this is in no way a "definitive version" or replacement for either existing official release, this Grindhouse version of Justice League uses some of the best elements from both Wheadon and Snyder's cuts, while keeping the film down to a manageable length and adding tons of grindhouse style camp. What's really impressive is the how the tone of the story is still serious, with almost all of the awkward Joss Wheadon jokes removed save for a few that actually work quite well.
The best part of this edit, however, is the added music! Classic rock throughout and themes for each character makes this feel like a true exploitation film that could have been released in the 70s. (The Flash's "theme" is absolutely brilliant and put a huge smile on my face!)

To start off, i did not like the Movies.
One wasjust bad and the far to long cut was far to long.
Also, i couldnt shake the fact that thje story keeps beeing weak.
So why waste another 2hours than ? Becauzse Gieferg !
His treatmant of Alien was one of the funniest and best Grindhouse touch ups i have ever seen and i wanne see all of them now.
JL is fun, its weird with that 70´s Music and it fits like crazy.
The seriousness of the OG movie is now on a believable level and i highly enjoyed the watch.
