An absolute blast, very highly recommended. Takes the PG-13 cult classic and kicks it up a few notches by making it a genuine hard-R fever dream, complete with cheesy song choices, gratuitous blood splatter effects and tasteless nudity (although thankfully no appearance of Christopher Lambert/Raiden's balls as seen in "Fortress".) My gf (a hardcore Kombat fan from back in the day) had been trying to get me to watch her copy of the original version of MK95 for ages, but I'm glad I held off until watching Gieferg's remix. I look forward to seeing what's next in the "Gieferg Grindhoused Series," it's an always-reliable source of a fun Friday night in.
