There is no question that the editor here has vastly improve how this film plays and more importantly how Timothy Dalton comes across as Bond.

For me the issue remains that I generally find Mr D to be generally wooden and dour, and there is not much one can do to fix that.

The technicals on this edit are seamless and its 10s across the board from me on that. All of them go a major distance in improving the tone, pace and ambience of the film overall making it a tolerable entry from my POV. Even with all that however, the central issue remains for me, and that is central star casting which for me remains an issue. Unaltered this 007 entry would rank a 5 or 6 from me so I am elevating that to an 8; this reflects a huge leap delivered by the editor's skills, but to get to a 9 I would need to be enjoying 'him' per-se, and the performance and interpretation for me remain a challenge to watch despite the huge improvement.

There is no question that if I decide to rewatch this again (and I recently reviewed another version) it will be this version, though I doubt I will be doing that any time soon.

OUTSTANDING WORK!

Since the movie is sourced from the Blu-Ray release, the audiovisual quality is great.

The edits made vary in smoothness, although when the cuts are jarring it's rarely bothersome (Mainly because there are certain parts in the original with similar cuts). Meanwhile, the audio edits are quite smooth and unnoticeable.

Overall, this edit provides quite an improvement towards the original. The edits made successfully shifted the tone towards a more serious one and tightens up the narrative by getting rid of jarring tonal shifts and several repeating plot points. Personally, I feel that this version is the one to watch if you want to experience what I think is one of the most underrated Bond movies, featuring the most underrated Bond.

Amazing work, ProblemEliminator and thanks for making such a brilliant version of this movie

I really enjoyed this edit. It trimmed the movie just enough and re-focused the movie on it's serious tone. I personally think Timothy Dalton was an underrated bond, and this has become my preferred way to watch this film. Great work!

Another excellent bond film from Problem Eliminator. I really enjoyed my viewing and this is another preferred version for me. Tightens it up and cuts the cheese making for a very enjoyable experience. As professional as it gets. Would definitely recommend.

I liked the movie quite a lot. The pacing of the movie is better. Some of the jokes you took out was good. I just notice you got your name Problem Eliminator when Bond met Sanhez, nice name. I like this one better then the original. Keep Problem Eliminating, well done and stay safe.
