Synopsis:
This is a short edit of various underwater documentaries with only music. A bit like Luc Besson's Atlantis.
Intention:
This is an old project of mine. I finished it before I made Cosmogony but for various reasons it was not released yet.
In fact it is a remake of my very first fanedit ever, done maybe almost 20 years ago, back to the days of VHS.
I always loved underwater footages and I've made an edit mixing various documentaries with music I liked.
I have lost this VHS but this new version is about 50% a remake of it. Different footage, some different music (but a lot of the original ones too), but same spirit.

Additional Notes:
For now it's only available under this vimeo video, but it could be also available later on DVD with other of my short edits but I don't know: all my short edits were made for the fanedit.org Consecutions projects and I feel they belong to those projects. If I want to release this one on DVD I would need to have other short edits that are not Consecution's project and I don't know when it could be done. So for now: it's this vimeo video .

The first 8 minutes of this were hypnotic. Well chosen tracks and well edited throughout. The ocean is quite beautiful and frightening at the same time.

I'll be honest, I didn't watch all of this (I know it's a short and I'm a lazy fool but I just didn't like some of the music so I kinda of skipped through those parts), but I really enjoyed what I saw. Aside from personally not enjoying some of the music, the whole experience was rewarding, and is actually quite similar to something I've thought about doing myself for a number of years. For that reason I found this very inspiring to try my hand at doing a fanedit. I really love the idea of piecing together beautiful footage with new music and this does that well. Thanks TMBTM for sharing and for all your hard work!!

That was beautiful. It had me hooked from the very beginning with the amazing imagery and the Pink Floyd. For the next 23 minutes I was thoroughly entertained. Highly recommend!
