Absolutely fantastic edit, it actually made the movies watchable for me.
I stopped watching the Hobbit trilogy when I was about half way through the second movie when it came out and never looked back,
aside from some Youtube videos (which confirmed my decision to stop watching these films) I haven't really wanted to go back and watch these movies as they were and this shakeup was really what I needed to give them another chance.
The CGI is still bad, greenscreen is abundant and distracting, the fight scenes are sub-par, and despite all of that this cut makes the painful bits less outstanding (and cuts as much of the bs as possible) which at-least makes these movies (now one movie) watchable and mostly enjoyable.
