What an amazing edit, this brings my enthusiasm for the Hobbit back with The Lord of the Rings. I've said this fan edit can go alongside at Christmas time. Small things that make this film so enjoyable are how it takes the lame fan-fiction out and keeps the film accurate to the lore of The Hobbit book. What was also fantastic was seeing the lengths that this edit has gone to, such as replacing the awful CGI orcs with actual decent ones that fit the original Lord of the Rings films. All the lame rollercoaster ride stuff is gone, and the crappy dwarf/elf love story is now rightfully destroyed. We get to see Legolas for only one shot and it's fantastic.

What an absolute joy this fan edit is. Bravo!!!!
