Original Release Date:
2003/2006/2007

Uhhh, runtime was four movies long. More or less. There’s a sliver or two of other films slipped in there as well. You’ll see what I mean. minutes
Fanedit Release Date:
Fanedit Running Time:
54 minutes
Time Cut:
Aww man, I dunno. A lot. minutes
Synopsis:
More adventures from the Marvel 24 universe. Episode 2 depicts the events leading up to the previously released “Marvel 24″ ReMixed by Jorge.
Intention:
It started as a joke – no wait, that was episode 3. This one started with me watching ep3 and just figuring it must have been fun to throw together. I spoke to ReMixed by Jorge to see what his feelings would be on me having a crack at it. After pitching my basic outline, he graciously gave me the green light. My basic approach was to set up everything needed for the climactic events of his episode, while still keeping the ep entertaining in its own right, and to have all the storylines make internal sense, even with the stripping down of extraneous details. I made sure to include all the information imparted in his “Previously On” and had to try and make the Hulk section work in context with the revelation at the start of episode 3 that it was actually a dream sequence, but without giving it away here. There are clues though.

And then on top of all that, I just wanted it to be fun to watch. So I hope it is.
Release Information:
  • DVD
  • Digital
Special Features:
The DVD features the teaser trailer, a music video for the X-Men trilogy, a Spidey parody featuring the voices of Tenacious D, a Marvel.com digital short (originally in three parts, here edited together seamlessly) a “secret” teaser that plays after the main feature, and some classified footage courtesy of Stark Industries.
Editing Details:
Oh, and you may notice that the 9am to 9pm timeframe overlaps with ep3′s 8pm to 8am; this was done so as to be able to include necessary story points, even though they took place after dark. Just go with it.

Sorry, but this didnt do it for me. Before I explain, I will say this, the technical know-how of this edit is top-notch. It was masterfully done, and is pulled off very professionally. Some very cool looking edits in it. Video and audio quality are perfect. DVD design is really cool. That said, thats where the praise for this stops for me. The first installment of the series (edited by Jorge) fell short for me. While it was also beautifully edited, the plot was thin, and I saw signs where it could have been tightened up for a really cool adventure. When I heard that UncannyAntman was taking the project up for an episode, my interest was peaked, and I thought surely that he would pick up where Jorge fell short. This was not the case though. While the edits may even be cooler, the plot is completely absent in this edit, and it was actually hard for me to keep watching. waiting, watching, waiting. Sorry, I think I will leave the Marvel24 idea here, and I can’t really recommend this to anyone.
