Review Detail

M.A.S.H is one of those shows that lends itself well to creative editing, with it's loose sequence of comical set-peices, assortment of endearing characters going through more than one personal stroy, and heartfelt commentary on the ramifications and landscape of conflict, it's a recepie for inspired exeperimentation. This edit flows very smoothly, with some of the most inspirational moments of the show's early years being highlighted throughout. I probably would have ended the edit with the end of the movie reel with Hawkeye talking about war not being anything like a movie, but I'll take what we got as it still remains a powerful memory for all M.A.S.H and television fans in general. A great mash-up and a fitting celebration of the cream of the 4077 crop.
