If you must watch Mission Impossible II then make it this cut.
In the run up to Mission Impossible Fallout I figured I'd rewatch all the previous MI films, fully intending to skip the godawful II... until I found out about this fanedit. Godbless Gekko he did what he could to make this watchable, and his works and choices are exemplary but it is still an awful film. You could honestly put Ben Stiller in Tom Cruise's place and it would suddenly turn this film into a Tropical Thunder-esque masterpiece of parody. If you must watch Mission Impossible II then make it this cut, but be warned that you can't polish a turd
