I really enjoyed this fan edit, which addressed many of the issues I had with the original. Most of the distracting pop songs were removed, replaced with classic Nintendo sounds that fit the Mario universe perfectly. The inclusion of iconic tunes, like a remix of the Super Mario Bros. 1-1 level music, added a nostalgic touch that made the movie feel more authentic to the games. The voice acting, was spot on, capturing the Crankys' personality in a way that felt true to the source material. Overall, this edit transformed the film into a much more enjoyable experience for longtime fans of the series.
