Prospect is one of those low budget movies that stuck with me forever, and now having seen it with this improved color palette and softer folk soundtrack it really is cemented as an impressive small cast sci-fi work of near genius.
One of the most impressive things about the movie is that they really don't take time to explain almost anything to you and somehow by the end of it you feel like you know exactly what the planet is about, and what the people who go there are about. The new visuals really help the story look as alien as it feels, and the new songs Hammer home that this is a small, insignificant story in a massive, galaxy-wide space.
It just *works*, excellent, excellent job by futon88.
