This is the pilot episode I always wished for !
Those 3 pilot movies, I've never been able to sit through in their entirety without falling asleep and that first episode, while not bad by any means, never really felt like a pilot.
Something was missing, this isn't the case anymore.
The flashback bits added to the episode do fit very well with the story, are quite well inserted in very appropriate places, invest you more in the watching. The story feels much more rich and deep than the original. It makes for a superb introduction to the character of Steve Austin, avoiding the continuity problems with the changes of cast (Oscar Goldman was there from day 1) and the added sound effects kinda missing from the first season are really an added bonus and greatly improve the six million dollar feeling.
Thanks again BionicBob, this one was 110% tailor made !
