When I first got the Blu-Ray for ITSV I noticed an "Alternate Universe Mode" with some deleted scenes. However, since it had commentary from the directors, I wasn't really interested in it since I wanted to watch it as just the extended cut. I got that with Bobson's fanedit, but I think I probably should have put more research into the alternate mode.
You see the deleted scenes aren't finished. Not meant as a slam against the editor, he did the best he could and it's probably more me not fully knowing what the deleted scenes were. Which is a shame because a lot of the scenes (especially the extended fight at May's house) were great but them not being finished kinda took me out a bit.
Overall it was enjoyable but not better than the theatrical sadly. (Though I think some editing with the scene of Peter and Miles on the billboard would make it theatrical-quality)
Note I would like to make: Apparently there was an updated version of this edit? Not sure which one I watched then.
