This edit has a great "tone" to it that makes the three films feel cohesive and I appreciate the decision to create "chapters." For a while it works really well. But once Glass starts taking the large majority of the screentime, it was much less compelling. There is probably a lot more that can be trimmed from that movie, but since the original is a bit of a train wreck in my opinion, I'm not sure how much Wraith could rework it into this in a satisfying way.

From a technical perspective, the only thing that really stood out to me was what appeared to be a mid-scene color grading change at 43:19.

One detail that didn't work for me was during the cross cutting between Unbreakable and Glass in "The Green Guardian" chapter. There is some dialogue between David and Joe that feels out of place in a long sequence that otherwise has no words from David. I'd recommend just cutting out that conversation and the viewer can just assume that David knew where to go or followed The Horde after bumping into him.

Impressive work with this one, Wraith. There's a little too much Glass for my blood, but this is a compelling watch overall. I look forward to watching Unbreakable Glass Split!

Unbreakable, when I saw it in 2000, it was a delightful surprise. As a life-long comic book reader it was a dream come true. It is a movie set in a world of superheroes, yet realistic and grounded.

Split, I saw it when it was at the peak of hype. I am someone who prefers effortless acting and understatement. So James McAvoy at the pinnacle of his acting prowess was a bit "too much" for me. (Watch the remake of My Son with him for a different taste)

Glass felt like a disappointment and an insult to the people who loved Unbreakable. The ending was too bleak. The movie teased a showdown at Osaka Tower but it seemed like Shyamalan ran out of money before he could shoot it and had to be happy with a smaller ending. That too killing of every.single.lead. Imagine if Return of the King ended with Frodo, Sam and Aragorn being killed by Sauron. And Aragorn was killed in the lamest way possible.

Split Unbreakable Glass salvaged this trilogy for me. I made a subtitle for this fanedit, because I liked the fanedit so much. This movie's tone is set correctly, so the ending feels truly earned. It is a tragedy of the soul. I choked up and cried at the scene where Kevin dies, multiple times, as I made passes through the movie while making the subtitle. When I watched Glass previously, I thought, "What an unnecessary drama. Jeez". This is the power of the fanedit.

The narrative has lot more strength and power now. I am not bothered by the McAvoy performance, it feels just right. Thank you wraith for making this fanedit. Editing was perfect and have to applaud the enormous amount of work done here.

I really enjoyed this as a sit down watch a 3 1/2 hour long movie. I think it works pretty well, and I liked how smoothly it cuts back and forth between time periods. I always know what time period I'm in and it doesn't hurt the experience that about a third is 19 years earlier.

This was well edited, and the only parts that stuck out to me a little was the Split parts. But I don't think that's the fault of the edit, just the fact that it's a much different movie. But it did blend together well enough that it wasn't jarring.

Well edited, enjoyable, (yes, long), and I would recommend this for interested viewers.

A masterpiece and when I want to watch this trilogy again, this is the way I will do it. Scenes are perfectly edited together and everything is more coherently linked than the original movies (which I am of course a massive fan of). I can't give higher praise than this: I am confident that if M.Night were ever to see this edit he would be highly impressed. 10/10 for me, make sure you watch the "Making Of" and of course the alternative edit from Wraith called Unbreakable Glass Split, it runs beautifully back-to-back with this edit.
