I can't give enough praise to Spence's Final Cut(s) of the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy. I have always genuinely WANTED to love the prequels but still hated them. But Spence got rid of everything I hated and created better pacing for the things I liked. Ultimately, it's everything the prequels should have been.
As for Episode II in particular, this edit is PERFECT. It cleared up muddy plot points, made all the characters more relatable, and ultimately was more fun to watch than the official cut. This was my LEAST favorite of the 9 Skywalker Saga films, but with Spence's edits it is now my 3rd favorite, just behind Empire and A New Hope.
