As a fan of the sequel trilogy let down by it's conclusions this edit works better for me as I was not a fan of the "Rey Palpatine" reveal which to me always felt like a justification to Rey being there at all as opposed to an interesting character development. Removing that element highlight her dark strike honestly improves the whole force dyad thing, both Rey and Kylo's arc comes to a smoother conclusion than in the theatrical release. If the extended Mustufar sequence ever makes the light of day I think it would a perfect fit for this edit. One can only dream atm.

Overall this edit is great, and help center the film on the core trio in a way that reminds me why I liked them so much, this is the second edit I've watched that swapped the holo chess scene to the end and it honestly it saves the film for me. Palpatine is less of a thing but still unavoidably there. The editor did a brilliant job imo to ease what has always been my least favourite Sidious troupe, in legends and cannon alike. Great job all round and look forward to watching your other edits.
