Already one of my favorite Star Wars properties, Spence went out of their way to turn it into something even better: a cohesive, easily digestible storyline that maximizes "Star Wars" and minimizes everything that was basically just filler. This is my favorite SW fan edit so far and I always look forward to seeing more of Spence's work!

Sincerely. It could be better

It barely has an added soundtrack, in the final duel it seems that it starts with a small part of added music. But then it still has the same music from the original series... and so on with the entire movie.
Although it has interesting transitions that reduce the duration, it does not fix the problems of the plots and narrative. (Is Leia's cousin that important?)

I'm sorry, but it's my opinion

Thank you for the review! Music replacement was not a goal of this edit.

Kenobi the show is ok but feels long and a little bloated. This edit fixes some of those problems and makes for a better viewing experience. It definitely benefited from being in movie form as apposed to tv form. The narrative cuts were smooth and worked well, although you can slightly tell that some stuff is missing it doesn't detract from the overall experience or narrative as a whole. I agree with some of the other reviews about the cuts but given what they had to work with I think it's great. Worth a watch for sure.

As good as an edit can be for Kenobi. You still get the isolationism in the beginning, you still get the bonding between Ben and Leia, and it does get more swashbuckling. Even with a lot of chasing cut, the episodic problems of go here imps here run there still drag it down, but the beginning and end of the film are VASTLY improved from the series. Cutting the unnecessary Lars homestead sequence does wonders of eliminating a storyline that everyone knew would go nowhere and has Obi-Wan resuming his post on Tatooine faster. Bravo!

It's been so long since i watched the show that i didn't miss a thing, this was amazing and the way it should have been. I'll probably never watch the series again and just put this on again in the future! Great job on this!
