Spaceballs is a Mel Brooks movie that I really enjoy. It has a humorous plot, humorous and memorable characters, really great jokes as expected from Mel Brooks and a familiar atmosphere to Star Wars.
This edit by Dawnrazor doesn't change that in the slightest. Music from Star Wars has been added to certain scenes to enhance the parody angle of the movie and some scenes have been trimmed from the movie, mostly president Skoob's scenes. I understand the exclusion of them because while they are funny scenes, they still feel a little repetitive and don't push the story forward. With these additions and trims, together they make Spaceballs a little better. But it doesn't matter a lot because the movie is already great but now it feels more like Star Wars and the pace is a little bit faster.
Good job, Dawnrazor. You did a unique spin to Spaceballs which paid off in the end.
