Strange Days Extended
Updated
Faneditor Name:
Original Movie/Show Title:
Genre:
Fanedit Type:
Original Release Date:
1995
Original Running Time:
145 minutes
Fanedit Release Date:
Fanedit Running Time:
149 minutes
Time Added:
4 minutes
Additional Links:
Synopsis:
This extends STRANGE DAYS with 2 great additional scenes. This is one of the few movies where more is really more.
Intention:
The two scenes were originally cut because of running time issues, though I find it ironic that they made a fret over 4 mins. Both scenes do not take away anything from the film and only add to it.
Editing Details:
I found one small issue after I burned the final disc and gave it a watch. The first deleted scene is literally a few pixels higher on the screen than the rest of the film. Nothing really major. The second deleted scene is on par and ok with the rest of the films height position.
Cuts and Additions:
- Lenny almost frying his brain trying to see the killer’s face in a mirror via a squid unit
- Shows how Lenny and Mace gain access to the sold out hotel party towards the end
- Shows how Lenny and Mace gain access to the sold out hotel party towards the end

I am an extended edition buff and have a big collection of original ones and all the fanedits from here.
Many extended editions do not add anything to the movie, just add more useless scenes. I will rate the ones here.
Rating criteria: image quality, sound quality, 3x improvement, overall.
Image Quality: 8 of 10
Sound Quality: 8 of 10
Improvement: 5 of 10
Overall: 6 of 10
