Review Detail

This is a terrific editing job. Scenes flow together seamlessly and, overall, it gives us a fantastic representation of what was originally intended before Donner was fired and the film was split in two.
As others have said, the reversing time earth spin doesn't really work as well as it does in the original film - we get that Superman might do this to bring Lois back from the dead but doing it to ease her broken heart is a bit of a stretch. I'm also not a fan of the screen test footage used when Clark reveals his true identity to Lois (his different hairstyles is really distracting). None of these things are the fault of the editor in any way, they're only working with the material they have after all.
Overall, a great job and I'm really grateful for the chance to see it.
