A/V - Nothing to complain about, although I watched on my 1080 monitor with average headphones so I may not be the best judge.

V Editing - There were a few moments where I noticed a cut, but far and few between.

A Editing - I felt like most song placements were a bit off. They were often turned on and off or down (as though they were diegetic, but then sometimes not). They feel a little sporadic and randomly placed. Usually a film has a moment or two where a big music piece is placed over a montage or climatic scene, here its used frequently and not always at a fitting time. Loved the use of Psycho Killer though, the placement was perfect.

Narrative - I think for the most part it works but there were a few shortened scenes that were noticeably shorter and its hard to tell if that was because I am pretty familiar with the film or not.

Enjoyment - Overall it was a fun experiment that is obviously not trying to be a replacement for the film, but my biggest gripe is that as I watched I realized how much I wanted to just watch the original film because so many of the best scenes and moments are either shortened or completely gone. For example, the basement scene is shorted pretty substantially and as a result, the tension is somewhat deflated.

I really hope this review doesn't come off too harsh because I still think it works well as what the editor intended for it to be which is a tribute to Bowie in a bite-sized form of the original film.

Looked amazing and the soundtrack was perfect! Really enjoy how the story was told and the effective use of flashbacks to avoid any potential plot holes. The music was great and I really love the concept for this show. Great job to @ArtisDead and everyone who helped!

I really loved the creativity and sound effects of the opening animation towards the Red Apple Logo and of course the logo itself along with the art style for the David Bowie tribute including the colours for the lettering, The flow and the animation of the cigarette smoke perfectly captured both the physics and vibe of having a good ole smoke not that I smoke but that’s the impression I got from it.

The way you repurposed the opening scene of the theatrical cut as a black and white flashback was an effective use of the non liner narrative and a good way to telegraph to the audience the reason for Shosanna’s fear and anxiety of Hans Landa as it also makes that scene of her brief emotional break down all the more effective emotionally since the repurposed opening and her emotional state after Hans departure happen in a much shorter space of time.

Speaking of timing the use of music throughout the edit was timed nicely with the start of certain scenes and the themes of the varying music choices you used felt thematically appropriate to the scenes that you included them in with a personal favourite of mine being the use of David Bowie’s Changes as Raine…hmm how do I put this…artistically arranges Landa’s face to complete his masterpiece as it gave the moment more iconography and a dark sense of humour.

The fast perspective switching between some of the scenes was an improvement over the theatrical cut such as the switching between the tussle of Shosanna and Zoeller and the scenes outside the projection booth as each builded towards Shosanna’s vengeance from the grave upon the Nazis.

Additionally I really liked the use of text used throughout the film which was not only close to that of Tarantino’s style but the structural placement of each of the narrative acts text serves and could potentially serve as a good indicator for First Time Faneditors of how to do a Five Act Structure or at the very least it could provide a hint to them as to how each acts are expected to be structured within a Fanedit’s five basic structures that eventually tie the whole thing together in a nice neat package.

Full disclosure: I am part of the Red Apple Crew, and was able to preview this edit. When I read that this film was to be cut down to a 60-minute episode, I thought "How on earth can it be done?!"; the story is so full already, that making trims and cuts would be difficult. ArtisDead has crafted a fantastic edit out of an already fantastic film!
The cuts, trims and re-arranging of scenes all work very well; there isn't much of the story that you're missing that would adversely affect the viewing experience.
The musical choices are fantastic, with heartfelt tributes to different musicians., plus the tone of the scenes with the new music hasn't been altered or watered-down. If anything, the tone has been made stronger through the use of new music. Editing music, and the removal of existing music from a film, can be extremely difficult, yet he has done a superb job here!
I genuinely loved this edit; some of the cuts are a tiny bit abrupt, however they didn't detract from my enjoyment, hence no reduction in the score I gave.
Great stuff overall!

Cleverly trimmed of about and hour and a half down to one hour this still manages to be easy to follow and retain most of the hightlights of the original. The new music cues are great and always surprising in how well they fit into the action. We need more ArtisDead edits please!
