This was a really interesting edit to watch. I was one of the original reviewers from the very first round of drafts and the final product is really something special.
Being in my mid-30's I never cared much for Andrew Garfield's Spiderman movies but the music choices here seem to really work well. At times the audio changes were noticeable but the overall effect is one of really great improvement to the original film. The most obvious parts were the differences in the added scenes from the sequel, but Max did an excellent job integrating them into the film.
Aside from the music, the part where this edit really shines is in the improved narrative. The story of broken fatherhood and damaged children is really strong, and the edit tells the story with so much emotion that I actually found myself enjoying Garfield more as Spiderman.
Overall I really enjoyed this one, and I could really see myself watching it again. Great work!
