Synopsis:
In the vein of Move Along’s Story of Star Wars edit, KingSpyder uses three different video sources of the first BSG movie (1978), including David Kerin’s reworking, along with the Lorne Greene narration from the album.
Intention:
From the Admin: The original info page for this edit was lost. We also could not get a hold of KingSpyder. This edit he made follows the storybook LP soundtrack from the 1970′s and like Move Along’s Star Wars edit, adds the footage from the film to the audio of the record. KingSypder gives us three versions of the same edit. One in full screen, the second in widescreen and the third using David Kerin’s edit as a source since he custom re-did the effects. The actual audio itself is a mix of the movie along with the soundtrack lp.

This edit was lost for a very long time. Back then I think I ended up being the one who approved it for this site. I know I had a review up for it at that time and sadly this was lost too. I am glad it is available one again

Like the description says, if you loved the idea of Move Alongs Star Wars Storybook edit, then you will love this. Though not as well done as Move Along’s, this was very entertaining and for those of us who either had or remember the LP soundtrack, it was a nice trip down memory lane and now with video.

The one issue most people had with this was that the video was slightly grainy in some spots and that he perhaps should have only had two versions on one disc to really up the quality.

Regardless it is something off the beaten path in terms of fan edits and it is nice to see this once again-
