Synopsis:
All 22 deleted scenes (12 minutes) have been restored to the first 2007 'The Thick Of It' Special to create the first of two feature length films.
Intention:
With the second series of 'Veep' done, I got a hankering for another dose of acidic Armando Iannucci political satire. So I got out my DVDs of the two 'The Thick Of It' 2007 Specials and immediately realised it would be cool to have all 38 minutes of deleted material added back in for ease of watching. Whenever I watch these DVDs I almost always watch the 3 deleted material compilations along with the episodes since they are of equal quality. They were clearly originally removed to meet a strict 60 minute broadcast time and not because they were less funny.
So I'm cutting in all non-duplicated footage seemlessly back in to create two feature length films I'm calling 'THE THICK OF IT: FULL DISCLOSURE (PARTS ONE AND TWO)'... part two to follow soon.

Special Thanks:
Thanks to Alastair Campbell (And friends) for inspiring a true comedy monster in Malcolm Tucker.

Editing Details:
I've added back all 12 minutes from the first special (Which comprised 22 short deleted scenes). I've endeavoured to include every single second from the original broadcast and the deleted scenes, but in a couple of occasions a shot had to be taken out or a duplicate line from an alternate take had to be trimmed.
Hopefully I've managed to cut all the material back into appropriate places and maintained the rapid intercutting technique of the original show. I've also tried to maintain the punchline-then-cutaway rhythm by not extending the end of scenes (When the footage could've been used that way) but instead moving the additional footage to the next cut away.

Cuts and Additions:
22 brief deleted scenes added back seemlessly (I hope!) throughout.

If your a fan of 'The Thick Of It' then you'll love TM2YC Extended Edit 'The Full Disclosure'
This is my first ever review so i'll keep it brief. To be honest it's quite a simple review really, if you have seen the series (and the specials) then i can assure you that both the narrative and the enjoyment are as per the source material, Fantastic.... No big changes just more of it.
The deleted material that is added is seem less and of equal quality to the main feature, as TM2YC says in his Fanedit Information regarding the deleted material "They were clearly originally removed to meet a strict 60 minute broadcast time and not because they were less funny".
I do urge anybody who is a little unsure if political satire is your cup of tea give this a try, if your British there's a good chance you'll love it and if your not there's a even better chance that it will rubber stamp all the stereotypes you imagine British politics to contain....... But most of all its dead funny. I look forward to Part 2.
