Thank you Adabisi. This was a wonderful way to revisit an old cinematic find and see them from a different perspective. As Adabisi detailed in his original Fanedit explanation he whole of the original Usual Suspects is all about showing you that much of what's being told to us the audience is BS. This make repeat viewings somewhat less enticing because you know it's all being laid out to make the ending a bigger payoff.

This edit is great as it strips away all the make believe and shows us a closer idea of what actually happened. This means that you might miss a favorite scene or two but I found it refreshing and worth it to see this sharper edit.

Not for first time viewers of The Usual Suspects but great for fans who want something a little different. Bravo!

this is a interesting take on a modern classic. while i may not have enjoyed this ending, it serves it's purpose at delivering a new alternative to the already familiar one. technically the audio and visual editing are all fine, the one noticeable moment during the edit for me is when Del Toro character is suddenly died. it's been a while since i've seen the film but i got the feeling that something had to be cut. as it is it plays out as if they kill him for no reason (maybe remove the weak link) overall if your a fan of the original then give this edit a try

I was too inebriated to appreciate this movie when it came out, though I vaguely recall it feeling lengthy and rather talky at times in an unpleasant stage production kind of way. . . . Anyhoo, it's been a long while since I watched the original, so I went into this viewing almost virginal.

And I came out liking Adabisi's version better. (Achtung! Schpoiler alert.) Really, if Verbal was faking his physical deficits during all the time he knew his crime buddies, he'd probably have let his guard down at some point and been sniffed out. (As if the only thing keeping him from being considered a Soze candidate was his limp. He was the man with the plan, after all.) This edit fixes that problem.

And the reordering of scenes makes the movie flow a lot better, based on aforementioned fuzzy memories.

Some of the other problematic bits remain, such as Del Toro's incomprehensible accent and the Miami-Vice-style criminal meetings in very public places, but that's not Adabisi's fault--the plot can't afford their removal.

As with Adabisi's prior production, the audio and visual quality are excellent.

The original film was overrated (let the slings and arrows fly), but this version is much more watchable. Well done, Adabisi.

This is a really cool alternate way to watch a great movie. This doesn't replace the theatrical cut for me, but it will be in the rotation of viewings. I enjoyed the ending a bit more; it was a great idea that was executed well.

While I love the original Usual Suspects and the way it plays about with its chronology, it's still good to know this edit exists. The ending of this edit wasn't bad but I do think the original was more satisfactory and packed more of a punch; it made the identity of Keyser Soze a lot more obvious, yes, but at least it did it in a playful way that stays true to the tone of the rest of the movie. That said, this was an entertaining, well-structured edit.
