As I wrote in my review of the SD version of this edit, I really loved the new narrative - the flip really suits the film and makes a lot of sense. I don't think anyone will actually doubt that Thor is who he says he is, especially since we see his image in the vortex, because we see Heimdall looking at Thor, and because, well, at this point we are familiar with the MCU.
This version is a special treat - not only is it a Fan Fix, but also an extended edition. Several new scenes add further depth to the story and flesh out the relationship between Thor and the Warriors Four. I really enjoyed seeing more of them, as well more of the film in general. My only issue with the narrative remains the placement of the flashback which I feel could have been improved easily (check the Forum Discussion for further details).
All in all, a wonderful take on one of the weakest films of the MCU (imho), which greatly upgrades it - and has become my definitive go-to version.
