After watching Unbreakable Split Glass I watched this one and really enjoyed it. The technical work in creating this is unparalelled and deserves a standing applause. How do you save a trilogy, two times? In two different ways? Thank you so much for creating this. I liked it so much I went ahead and created a subtitle for this.

Glass has the most ridiculously downer ending of all-time. It is like you are all pumped up to watch the Avengers movie where they are going to team up for the first time, and the Hydra or whatever defeats and kills them all with barely any effort. This edit salvages by doing multiple things in the narrative framing. The most important one being the tender moment between David and Audrey after his death, giving the viewers some solace. Other thing is making David's death less of a very obvious police brutality, and making it look like the killer of both the superheroes be a plant by the secret organization.

I am a big fan of Unbreakable, which may not be as highly regarded today in this new cynical, post-truth world. But the ending twist was solid, satisfying and made narrative sense. In Glass the Dr Staples asks David to take her hand. The scene makes no narrative sense. The characters are just doing whatever is needed for the plot. Why would she be extending her hand? Does she believe in the goals of her secret organization? Is she a pawn, just doing a job for a paycheck and resenting it? Why does she want to give the revealation to David whom she is obviously letting get killed. Does she want to give him a final mocking remark? What is the characters motivations? And Why is David, who would rather save himself from sure death, wanting to take her hand? Obviously he does not think she is here to save him? He just had the resolution of his powers being real, a little while back. Imagine if David died beating The Beast, may be fighting him to save the city, and drowning in a fountain in the middle of downtown where they were fighting. That would have been a heroe's death. In my country there is an expression "Dying in a handful of water" which means "Dying of shame". Here it is a too literal version of it. Rant over.

The editing was top notch and is a real triumph of the editor. This guy saved the trilogy two times, in two different ways. It is unbelievable. I especially loved couple of transitions, one bringing Elija from the first movie to the last and the one with Joseph. Whatever follies remain in the movie are the unsalvageable stuff by the original makers.

Some notes: 1. Interaction of Elija with Dr.Staples in the very end. There is a shot before the mom. Those could have been together.
2. There is someone behind Elijah when the Beast attacks him. I believe this is Casey, whom you have excised completely from this edit. Nice trickery.
3.A shot of the note written by Dr. Fletcher would have been nice to have.
4.I also noticed some dialogues being spliced together, in the tunnel scene with Dr. Fletcher especially.
5.Finally, I have a crush on Robin Wrigh-penn from the time of Princess Bride, thank you for having her. I am actually undergoing physiotherapy these days and that dialogue about physio patients fear was very timely for me personally!
