Valerian is a disappointing, bloated, but ambitious Luc Besson sci-fi film that I seemed to like more than most people. The two leads lacked in chemistry, but were fun in their individual roles. There's tons of crazy visuals and concepts, but the dead weight held it back.
This edit fixes all the problems I had with the film. This version of Valerian is a very enjoyable light adventures, feeling a lot like Besson's other famous sci-fi films, The Fifth Element. It's inventive, fast paced, and messy in the best ways. The subtly flirtatious relationship between the two leads works much better here.
This is a great edit, and definitely the best way to enjoy Valerian. I didn't notice any technical issues or obvious cuts. I highly recommend it!
