Well this is a cool little exercise! I love, LOVE the documentary Apollo 11, and for me there's really no getting better than any 10 minute clip of that. But for the intention of merging the 3+ sources here, this is remarkably successful. I do have a couple of quibbles:
-The audio was kind of driving me crazy, because you hear lots of overlapping from Ground Control and from the capsule. It's especially annoying when you hear the helmet audio and then slightly delayed the same line going through the radio. Maybe that's how it actually sounded, I don't know, but sometimes there's a reason for "movie magic" in making something dramatic. I couldn't hear hardly a damn thing anyone said. (Others may love this choice, so I can't knock it too much really.)
-I did find that narratively, with the close-ups of the astronauts and seeing their intensity, I wanted to know more about what they were thinking and feeling. I wanted a bit more setup going in. The result was this didn't really feel like a short film with its own complete little arc, but it could have. I just needed maybe 30-45 seconds of montage, showing the astronauts getting ready or something, maybe a title card setting the context. As-is, this works as a pure editing experiment, but is lacking context as a story on its own.
Overall, this is really well done and engaging to watch. The music fits well and a lot of the shots are compelling and well-balanced. I'd love to see it fleshed-out a bit!

I like your idea of making it a completed arc with a beginning middle and end. Perhaps I will revisit it again in the future.
