The X-Men must unite again for the first time to defeat Apocalypse!

An extended cut of a movie that's already too long, but also wasn't long enough. Adding back some much needed character moments and connective tissue to a movie that moved a little too fast.

17 new and extended scenes have been added back into the film for a longer, fully and more complete conquest of the mighty Apocalypse!
Intention:
While watching the film, I did notice some moments moving too fast, or some things that moved a little too fast, so seeing that the Blu-Ray had a lot more stuff with Scott who was sorely underused, I wanted to make an extended cut of the film.

Aside from a few noticeable technical imperfections, this is a solid edit that expands upon a narration that wasn't extensive enough.
Very good work.

Bobson does another great job with his line of extended editions!

I especially appreciate the addition of the scenes with Scott and those with Moira — especially the one where Stryker is arrested, as it was a cool detail I was unaware of and makes sense given what she explains. That all said, I had two technical concerns with this edit.

There were no jarring changes at all until about a quarter of the way into the movie! During the scene with the guy and the camel, there’s a frame that disrupts the sequence right at 40:16. The way the camel peeks into the alley is also very cartoonish.. so it could be good to edit that scene down a bit for both tonal and visual editing purposes.

The only other issue I found was some white noise when Nightcrawler wakes up with a start at 2:22:00, which could be removed pretty easily.

Beyond these two concerns, the edit was excellent for me, and I enjoyed it a lot! That said, while the issues are small, they’re unfortunately noticeable enough to take me out of the movie. Absent an edit tidying up those bits, if I am ever to rewatch Apocalypse, I will likely stick with the original.

When it comes to fan edits, Bobson Dugnutt is synonymous with quality!

This delivers an extended cut of the final X-men movie in the Fox series (Dark Phoenix didn't happen), with the inclusion of deleted scenes that do a lot to give added depth to the character's we know and love like Cyclops, Magneto and Storm.

Some minor nitpicks, there is an audio error where you can hear the voice of Nightcrawler on an establishing shot before it cuts to a re-inserted deleted scene of Beast and Mystique at the X Mansion. There's then also a single frame from the extended mall scene where a CGI Nightcrawler was to be included in a dance battle, instead it's text on the screen with a tennis ball on a stick. Very brief, I didn't notice it the first time watching, but it is in there.

The only other gripe I have with this edit is that there are no subtitles for the many non-English/foreign language scenes. Otherwise, it's the extended cut I always wanted out of this movie, and if the subtitles could be corrected, it would replace the theatrical cut as my go to version of X-Men: Apocalypse.

Delivers on the promises and enhances the storyline of this movie beyond the original theatrical cut thanks to the extra scenes.
My go to version from now on.

Minor audio hiccups while integrating one deleted scene (you hear the begining of the conversation between Nightcrawler and Jubilee before the new scene of Beast and Mistique begins), but an overall solid edit, as usual from bobson.
