Synopsis:
This is my first fan edit on the site! Many directors as of late have been creating Black and White versions of their films. Either because that was their original vision (The Mist), or they just think it would look cool (Logan). Upon rewatching Who Framed Roger Rabbit, I realized how perfect it would be for the Black and White treatment. It's already wearing its Film Noir inspirations on its sleeve, so why not go all the way with it? So this is basically a Film Noir Edit of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. And after seeing it completed I have to say, It really works. There are times where it almost looks like it was meant to be in black and white.
Special Thanks:
To all the amazing artists who created such a classic film.
Release Information:
Blu-ray
Editing Details:
Keeping this edit as close to theatrical as possible while giving it a nudge further into film noir with a black and white aesthetic. And leaving room for further edits in the future if necessary.
Cuts & Additions:
A Black and White Noir version of this already amazing film.
