H8teful: Reconstructed Hateful 8 Roadshow Version Ex. Q. T. V. O.

From an already over achieving theatrical picture, Wraith has concocted with it, the most intelligent and disturbing edition of The Hateful Eight.
This goes moreso the overall film but I forget how crude and horrific the movie can be, it reminds me sometimes of The Shining due to it's content being so immersed in undertones of meaning, to history, culture, world-building, racism, politics, narrative prevalent in our society depicted in examples of realism, gone thanks to wraith is the meta voice over which I understand it's point but it greatly diminishes the quality of the plot because of it's direct explanation: I think this makes it suffer greatly from a lack of suspense and theatricality inside the drama of the film. finally watching the roadshow rec edition was a treat as well, this movie greatly benefits from it's slow chess game for a quick brutal endgame of historic violence against politically conscious people, it goes without saying but Tarantino fucked up not making THIS his definitive cut on his own work, as it replaces it's contenders easily for being a fucking masterpiece.

Fantastic edit! I love long movies, and I love watching alternate cuts of movies, so this was a very enjoyable watch.

I was lucky enough to see the Road Show 70mm in the theatre, so was very excited to watch it again in this format. I have watched the bluray many times, and always felt like I was missing the same feel the Road Show presented.

This is well done and is what I will now consider the definitive version to watch. I can not recommend this enough!
