Probably the best Michael Mann movie and definitely the best Hannibal Lecter (Lecktor) movie, and now there's even more of it. The edit shows its age a bit on the technical side, but it hardly matters, this is the only version I'll watch from here on out.

This was a great Extended Edition. I’m used to the poor quality of the added scenes (having watched the Director’s Cut more than the theatrical cut). The only thing I wasn’t crazy about is the DC ending as I really don't like that ending.
