The big difference with this cut is that there is no more Mr Lovett as played by Bill Paxton. The movie is strictly about Titanic, Rose & Jacks love story & that’s it.

This is the courageous attempt to create a version of Titanic, which is bearable for men. It’s the story about Jack, who with a lucky hand won a ticket – on the Titanic.

This gets rid of the love story and of all the TV satire. Now it is a pure bug war movie.

Even more mysterious and thrilling in a changed the aspect ratio from 1:33;1 to a whopping 2:35;1. The movie has also been trimmed for better and more modern pacing.

This extends the original movie with 4 additional scenes and the alternate ending.

The 2005 cut of this film was a travesty and deleted many great sequences, but added some really good scenes and shots in the process. These scenes were added back to the longer and better Turner Preview version.

This is a faster cut that focuses on the Navy SEALs doing their mission. Much of the priest/nuns screentime have been cut. Some redundant exposition involving the ethnic cleansing have been minimized. I tried to make this edit less preachy and simply about the SEALs doing their job.

There are 4 different commercially available cuts of this film, all with their own unique scenes and footage. This now is a composite version with every scene.
