This is not explicitly a Predator movie until Naru first encounters what she’s hunting. Dialogue is at a bare minimum, with any Commanche characters limited to their native tongue and scenes re-cut to allow for better dub synchronisation; audio tweaks have also been made to help the dub sit better in the film mix. Further changes are made to tighten some of the action and pull attention away from weaker FX elements.

It's a great western film hidden here but the running time is way too long. This edit removes the backstory and focus on the events in Dodge city and Tombstone.

The film has great moments and great music, but the story comes to a screetching halt in various moments. So, I fixed that.

This edit adds in 15 minutes of deleted and extended scenes back into the film to create a nearly 3-hour epic in 4K.

IN April 2019 Netflix made available an extended version of the director’s “The Hateful Eight”.

The movie was presented as a miniseries with four episodes each running approximately 50 minutes.

I have used this as the basis for reconstructing The Unavailable Roadshow version of the movie and included my adjustments removing the QT Voiceover flashback and the scoring change I made at the end. The same tweaks I made to the Ex Q.T.V.O Theatrical version Edit are identical here. I have also reinstated the original Chapters from the Theatrical and Roadshow versions rather than adhering to the 4 chapter mini series structure.

Tarantino’s theatrical cut ran 168 minutes, The Roadshow Version ran 187 Minutes while the four episodes of the extended cut make up 210 minutes (but that includes 4 sets of opening and end credits). If you remove those, you have the Roadshow effectively.

This version runs 191 minutes and for now is the longest version you can watch (that's the overture adding 4 mins).

I will not make available The unaltered roadshow version since I believe the flashback to be a serious flaw in tone and pacing.

'The Legend of the Magnificent Seven' is a fanedit of Antoine Fuqua's reimagined vision of the western classic based on Kurosawa's 'Seven Samurai'. In this legendary retelling, seven gunslingers that consist of a bounty hunter, a gambler, an outlaw, a sharpshooter, an assassin, a native warrior and a tracker come together to aide a small town from being overrun by the ruthless corporate mogul Bartholomew Bogue. What starts out as just a job prospect for these men turns into something more meaningful as they discover what they have inside themselves to make them legends.

Removing narration was the starting point. Then I started from the beginning and trimmed here and there as I went thru it. At some point the flashback sequence didn't work for me, so I tried out the chronological cut idea.

This is a recreation of the rarely seen "Theatrical Cut" or "2nd Director's Cut" of 'Heaven's Gate' using the beautiful HD Blu-Ray transfer of the "Preview/Premiere/1st Director's Cut". The much shorter cut is not a studio-imposed hatchet-job but the result of 6 months of Director Michael Cimino's further work in the cutting room, trying to perfect the film. It's 67 minutes shorter, features a voiceover, radically rearranged scenes, altered dialogue, music and SoundFX and 18 minutes of new footage.

For whatever reason he did not chose to restore this cut of the film for Blu-Ray and opted to present his first much longer cut that he himself had withdrawn. So here is my attempt to recreate that "2nd Director's Cut" in the best quality possible.

This is the most complete version of the film Serenity. All deleted scenes have been added back in and whenever possible, they have been scored with music from the score composed by David Newman.

The second chapter in the Serenity Chronicles finds the Firefly crew harboring two Alliance fugitives and looking for any job they can find to keep their ship flying. Steven Soderbergh made a fanedit of Michael Cimino's much maligned 1980 epic 'Heaven's Gate' back in 2006 (For his own amusement). This year he decided to release it onto the internet via his blog, but the visual quality was very poor, as it was cut from the un-restored DVD (Also compressed for streaming).

I really wanted to enjoy Soderbergh's dramatic slashing-in-half of this overlong but beautiful film but the poor quality stopped me. So now I've recreated 'The Butcher's Cut' frame-by-frame based on the restored 2012 'Heaven's Gate' Blu-Ray. It's Steven Soderbergh's fanedit with me just presenting it in the best possible light.

'Heaven's Gate' has many strengths, including some the most beautiful cinematography you're likely to see, a wonderfully poetic script and one of the greatest scores ever recorded. But pacing, strict editing, character motivation and narrative clarity weren't among them. I think Soderbergh has addressed many of these flaws and also reduced the inflated running time down to almost exactly a half.

After losing his faith in the bloodiest battle of the war, he takes to the skies in a firefly-class transport ship seeking whatever jobs he can get to keep flying. Enter a ragtag crew and some passengers with secrets of their own and you have the beginning of an epic 3-part adventure that mixes Sci-Fi and Westerns like never before.

This is a new take on DANCES WITH WOLVES, the famous 4h Western/Adventure that is so similar in its story to Avatar. Condensed to 2h30 minutes this is a much faster paced intense movie with no voice overs from John Dunbar, no irritating madness and less over-the-top scenes. The conflict of the two worlds and clashing cultures has been toned down to a more realistic, but still highly emotional take.

To give RED SUN a Leone-esk feel many shots were re-framed to give a hint of the Leone style by presenting it in true widescreen. Several scenes were lengthened slightly to increase the dramatic tension and some action scenes were tightened.

The Ugly West is a fanedit project by TMBTM and CBB. Both faneditors tackle one legendary Sergio Leone western to present them in much shorter, modernized and very different to the original versions.

The 2005 cut of this film was a travesty and deleted many great sequences, but added some really good scenes and shots in the process. These scenes were added back to the longer and better Turner Preview version.

This fanedit preserves the extended Italian version and restore some of the extra shots from the shorter version with original English and Italian mono soundtracks. Also restores some missing music found in the Italian version. It’s the longest version of “C’era Una Volta Il West” you will probably ever get.
