The Mandalorian, Season 3 edited as a 2-hour and 30-minute epic war film complete with the Star Wars opening crawl and end credits.

This is for people who think “Please don’t edit Andor, it’s already perfect… I’d take it as movies though.”

This is Andor season one, rearranged into four movies of roughly two hours each, removing no content whatsoever, just focused on smoothly presenting each major A-plot as a movie whilst moving the supporting B-plots around to keep each movie as focused as possible, so each movie is self-contained and easily digestible.

The comically bad Oliver Stone epic from 2004 has been transformed into a more serious war movie that emphasizes the battles and relationships between Alexander the Great and his Macedonian Companions. Two hours of melodrama, bad acting, and cynicism have been cut. Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Rosario Dawson, and Francisco Bosch have been removed save for a few shots. All narration and the score by Vangelis have also been removed. Vangelis' superior score from "1492: Conquest of Paradise" has been used instead. To fill in for the missing narration and original score, hundreds of new sound effects have been added.

Rogue One reformatted and rescored entirely as the finale arc of Andor.

After the fall of France to the Nazis and the evacuation of the British Army from Dunkirk, the Royal Air Force must defend their homeland from the threat of invasion by a battle-hardened and numerically superior opponent during the summer of 1940, with the future of the country, and maybe even the whole of Europe, hanging in the balance.

This edit is, on the whole, a simple tightening of the director Guy Hamilton's ambitious 1969 retelling of these events, hopefully making it more approachable for the audience.

No dialogue. All adrenaline. Limbo presents an intense, monochrome edit of Dunkirk as a non-stop series of events involving only the perspectives of soldiers at the beach. This is NOT a silent film since music, background voices, and sounds of stress still remain. But key dialogue are removed to serve the creative decisions.

After arriving at the Lonely Mountain and witnessing Smaug's massacre, Bilbo Baggins finds himself in a bit of a pickle... participating in an all out war! Dwarves, elves, men, orcs... Will our little hero make it out alive and unscathed?

The Final Countdown. This is one of those forgotten gems from the 80's. It is a great film, with a simple idea, that is pulled off quite well. However, the film is bogged down with excessive shots and sequences showcasing the Navy. This is a version of the film with the bulk of those scenes either cut or trimmed down, as well as some other bits here and there.

There was a story about 2 brothers who had a natural talent for alchemy called Fullmetal Alchemist. This story was originally told in a manga, but before the manga was finished an anime was put out. The anime had to change and create some original story elements because the manga was still ongoing at the time.

After the manga had finished they wanted to revisit the anime with a version closer to the actual story told in the manga. This would be known as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The only thing was due to retreading some story elements told in the original anime, they shortened some story beats for FMAB.

Commodus’ actions alone are what shows us his depravity, and he actually acts upon his lust for his sister. Lucilla (the sister) is also depicted as a much stronger woman.

A classic wartime "men on a mission" movie with fantastic production values and performances. But the pacing of the storytelling does drag in parts from a modern viewpoint.

This is the reconstructed version of the Roadshow with is 40 minutes longer in 720p and STEREO.

A savage and unsentimental a film. Except for an embarrassingly sentimental, sappy prologue and epilogue. This is a version without schmaltz that does not pander to the audience.

More grit, Less 80s humor, some scoring tweaks and more credible.

The full story of Katniss Everdeen but told in the mini-series format which contains many surprises, deleted scenes and new music and score by many different artists.

This isn't a heavy edit, it's mostly a restructure. The 10-minute 'Second Battle of the Somme' sequence, which occurs 3/4 of the way through and does not feature Joey, derails the movie. So the Somme sequence is shifted to the start, to form a new flashback/prologue and is now in black & white with an added old-fashioned vignette, further separating it visually from the main body of the movie, suggesting something of the past about it and creating a contrast with the vibrant colourful countryside of the first Devon scenes. The fact that the Somme sequence already featured no score, unlike the lushly orchestrated John Williams scenes that follow it, was a bonus distancing factor. We will now not really see Albert again until the end of the film, just a brief glimpse of his face, lit by the guns that Joey is dragging, only informing us that Albert has joined up. The 2-minute cutaway back to Albert in England disrupted the otherwise entirely Joey focused narrative, so that is simply deleted. There are a few more minor cuts to massage the new continuity and to slightly delay certain aspects of the story. On-screen chapter titles are added (in the same style and font as the existing time/place titles), acknowledging the episodic nature of the story and who owns, or cares for Joey in those episodes.

I felt there were 2 unanswered questions in this movie. Both answers were found in deleted scenes. So I added the 2 deleted scenes back in.

The 'Entirely Respectable Editions' seek to remove all material that is silly, overplayed, misjudged, overly comical, ridiculous and generally inconsistent with the more serious tone established in the earlier 'Lord of the Rings' Trilogy. It is not a radical restructure, or a two-film cut and does not set out to streamline narrative, quicken pacing, or remove characters and plot-threads. The more time we spend in Middle Earth the better, I just want Middle Earth to be a more sensible place while we're there.

'Where Rebels Dare' takes an already decent Star Wars movie and makes it a bit more Star-Warsy. We now open with a traditional crawl and scene wipes are used. The amount of "fan service" is reduced and the plot is reordered.

This is a 91 minutes version of Saving Private Ryan. The difference is that there is no search for a Ryan. It's cut to an adventure full action war movie with other colors and music overdub. Der Untergang is more now to the character of Hitler in the bunker and the war on the streets of Berlin

When I first watched "The Hunger games" I felt it was a bit too similar to the japanese movie "Battle Royale". But after rewatching I changed my mind, because despite the similarities "The Hunger games" had enough of its own themes, ideas and tone to make it worthwhile, and the sequel which I liked even more proved that to me. So when the final chapter was about to hit, I was looking forward to it. But I didn't like the fact that it was to be released as a two parter, with a year in between. So I waited until the second part was in cinemas before watching the first part. After watching both parts I was glad I waited, because even though I liked both parts, imho it should have been told as a single movie. The separation imho weakens both parts, the first part lacking the climax and resolution and the second part lacking the buildup and characterization.
So I turned them into a single movie of a little over three hours.

This is a recreation of the rarely seen "Theatrical Cut" or "2nd Director's Cut" of 'Heaven's Gate' using the beautiful HD Blu-Ray transfer of the "Preview/Premiere/1st Director's Cut". The much shorter cut is not a studio-imposed hatchet-job but the result of 6 months of Director Michael Cimino's further work in the cutting room, trying to perfect the film. It's 67 minutes shorter, features a voiceover, radically rearranged scenes, altered dialogue, music and SoundFX and 18 minutes of new footage.

For whatever reason he did not chose to restore this cut of the film for Blu-Ray and opted to present his first much longer cut that he himself had withdrawn. So here is my attempt to recreate that "2nd Director's Cut" in the best quality possible.

Red Tails Redux strikes a more serious tone than the theatrical cut. This version of the film eliminates two poorly received subplots, the 'Love Story' and the 'Prison Escape'. Red Tails Redux also features trims to most of the juvenile humor and on-the-nose dialogue as well as several editorial fixes to improve structure and pacing.

Many people say the boot camp scenes at the beginning of the film are the strongest. My intention? Mix them into the Vietnam scenes. Hopefully, it gives the film a fresh perspective, as boot camp is now told in flashback form, with the appropriate boot camp scenes following Pyle's downfall used. Other material has been excised.

Set during the chronology of the first film, "Ticket Home" is a reflective look at the hijinks of the 4077 M.A.S.H. Unit as they partake in the United Nation lead Korean "Police Action".

The main difference between my edit and the original show is the pacing. The show had a very serialized pacing whereas the motion picture had an ebb and flow to it. I intended to make my MASH more like the film.

From the minds of David Morell and Sylvester Stallone comes one of the most eagerly awaited television series in history. Spanning 26 years of shooting, we follow the adventures of decorated Vietnam war veteran, John Rambo, in Rambo - A Warrior’s Journey.

The purpose of the edit is to tell the journey of US soldier John Rambo after he returns from the Vietnam war, starting of course with his run in with Sheriff Teasle in the “quiet” town of Hope, through a 26 year journey which ends with the civil war in Burma.

Harrison Ford and Christopher Plummer are on a mission during WWII, behind enemy lines.

This is a radical re-edit in that there is very little exposition and character setup. Similar to Saving Private Ryan, the majority of the movie takes place in Col. Moore’s memories. This was done to make this a more action-oriented war movie.

A much faster flowing film and George Clooney cameo is removed.

This transforms JARHEAD into a more traditional movie form. The climax is particularly more climatic in this version.

Everybody loves Deer Hunter, but it was way, way too long, with so much in it that really slows the movie down and shifts your attention from the main focus. The Deer Hunter: Skinned is a cut down, slimmer version of a classic.

This FanEdit is strictly a POV from the Allied perspective and takes place during the course of one day. I have tried to create a documentary feel to the action and so all German POVs have been cut (including interior machine gun nests and German establishing shots). This was done to show only what an allied soldier might have seen during the conflict.

This re-edit of Pearl Harbor simply minimizes all the minor characters and distracting sub-plots. What’s left is the principle storyline of two best friends, the woman they both love, and how their lives are affected by the onset of WWII. With a new runtime of just under 2 hours, the movie feels more focused and poignant.

By removing the love triangle this turns out to be a great action and war movie about a day the US will never forget.
